Frannie's Big Fix

Let me tell you about my day. Moms got up early as usual and feed everybody and left me out. I should have known that something was up. Mom Pauline put me in the car and we had a long drive and then we got out at this nice place and went in. I have been there before. I met several dogs, some weren't feeling so good and others were anxious to play. I was at my best, feeling good, walking strong and acting as the one man greeting committee at the door. Then mom left and they took me back where they were a lot of people. They all seemed busy, I was a little scrared because I really did not know any of them. Then I heard one of them say its her turn and they picked me up and I went into a deep sleep. When I woke up I was miserable. I had not been out to pee and poop and my stomach hurt. I thought maybe someone had gotten mad at me but mom kept reassuring me that it was necessary for me to have this operation because I did not need to have any puppies. Guess she knows what she is talking about. Because I have come to trust her I knew she would take care of me and she put me in the car for the long ride home. When I got home she gave the appropiate amount of Rimadyl, told the other dogs to go easy and put me in a well padded crate so I could rest. She assures me I will feel better in the morning and I believe her. The medicine is taking effect and I am off for a long nights sleep. Will let you know how the next few days go. Love, Frannie
